girl on bridge

there may be nothing quite right about this photo, but i couldn’t pass this moment by without capturing from my hip. i love walking, holding my camera low, aiming (without peeking through the lens), and shooting. i never know what i’m going to get. sometimes it’s deleted immediately. sometimes i hold onto it, glance back at it, think about it. and even though this one isn’t perfect, i knew i loved it.
Beautiful! Love the subdued colors.
ah this is perfect!
Haha someone is sneaky. :]
I really like this shot though. It breaks all the “rules” of photography, and it looks great. It has style. Whether it was unintentional or not. Awesome capture.
Haha, I do the same thing. This one beats any of my at-the-hip shots. Just perfect!!
i love this so much! gosh, i’ve missed your blogs! i’m be catching up here for some time now.
I like this. I do the same thing too. Most of mine don’t really turn out though. Hehe. If i ever come to NYC, which hopefully will be soon to visit some family, we should meet up. That would rock!
Rules are made to be broken. I think this is a great photo ~ thanks to the quirky composition (never thought about shooting from the hip) and the really neutral palette. I love it.!
are you kidding? everything is right about this photo! it’s gorgeous!
