faux focus

wall-walking

i took this photo as a way to describe how i felt in that moment. living in new york city, i’m always always watching people, but usually trying not to be so obvious about it… especially when the only people on the street are you and one other guy (with his dog). this is how i do, i act like i’m watching something else, even though, something about that particular person has a magnetic pull on my vision! of course, he may have no idea that i’m watching him, pointing my camera his direction…

And a super cool photo I must say. Love the colors you gave it!

Such a wonderful feel to this. It evokes so much of how it is for me when secretly people watching.

I use this technique too! I usually get an unexpected shot from it. Being stealthy creates a cool effect.

I love this shot. And I LOVE your website, by the way. This is my first comment, but I’ve been reading for a while. Keep doing what you’re doing and I will keep reading!
