through the reflection

this photo was taken today in dumbo, brooklyn. after brunch, i walked out of the restaurant before seth… i saw the beautiful reflection and him standing there for a moment. i love how this photo captures him and the reflection of the buildings and the manhattan bridge beyond.
it reminds me of a double exposure photo… but not quite. i’m kind of loving photos like these lately… but this is only one of a few that i have taken myself.
ooo and speaking of double exposure, i’ve been meaning to look up how to do that with my film camera… and i found this how to. i think i’ll be taking my film camera out soon to finish the roll while trying to get double exposure photos.
That is one of the coolest photos I’ve seen in a long time! So much goodness all in one shot! Nicely done!
This is a fantastic shot, Alicia. Very powerful!!
i know that will always be a special image for you…reflections really create a certain “look” to a photo
Love the romance of the reflections. Wonderful image!!!
That is an incredible portrait. Really…
this is a beautiful, beautiful picture. he looks so pensive. i liked it when i saw it on new york city life, but i dared not leave another comment on that post lest you think i was comment stalking you. :) sorry ’bout that. i should learn to make sure i have my whole comment typed before i hit “publish”.
anyway. this totally looks like a movie poster photo. and i don’t mean that in a bad way, ’cause i know some movie poster photography can be cheesy. but there can be some nice photos, too. like on a good foreign film or something. and, i just mean it looks so professional, you know? oh, i think i’m rambling. it’s been a very long day. sorry. :)
well, we both put our hairy-chinned hubbies on our blog today. is your’s shy about having his face on the internet like mine is?
This is a really nice shot. I like the light and the reflection.
