portfolio collection

this summer, i somehow found an inspiring opportunity to join miss b’s “school” and complete a few of the weekly photo assignments. i started late and missed “turning in” a few of the assignments, but i did get my final project in on time :) i wanted to share it with you. i chose the portfolio - for me, i interpreted it as a collection of photos that tied together. i don’t know if i created a successful portfolio collection (the word “portfolio” scares me)… but i do love the collection i came up with. i took these a little while back and did share one of the photos already…

sky photo

lights

i love how this photo is mostly blue sky. the lights on the right just take a corner of it… i was looking for more photos like this… i was sure i’ve seen something similar that inspired me recently, but i cannot seem to find any photos right at this moment. do you have any photos like this or similar… where the sky takes up most of it?

style

table

style. style. style? what is my style as a photographer? what is my type? what is my theme? how do all of my photos connect? some photographers have distinct styles. me, i am still exploring and trying out various “styles”… trying to find who i am as a photographer. and everyday, as i see all the beautiful photographs of talented photographers with so many different styles, i’m pulled and influenced. today, this is my style. tomorrow, it will change.

through the screen

georgia posted a few screen shots today over at it’s just how i see things, and it reminded me of a photo i had taken last month through a screen. so before the photo gets moved to the external hard drive for storage and forgotten in the folders of photos, here it is.
