my photo walk the other day wasn’t too far. i just crawled out my living room window onto my fire escape. the rain had come and gone, but the clouds still hung overhead, making me too nervous to go on a real photo walk (for fear of getting my camera soaked with raindrops).

style. style. style? what is my style as a photographer? what is my type? what is my theme? how do all of my photos connect? some photographers have distinct styles. me, i am still exploring and trying out various “styles”… trying to find who i am as a photographer. and everyday, as i see all the beautiful photographs of talented photographers with so many different styles, i’m pulled and influenced. today, this is my style. tomorrow, it will change.

my favorite colors to photograph are greens and blues. these are a few from last saturday’s walk in the park. i hope to be back next week with a few photos from real nature (real as in outside of the city).

this photo of sunflowers is the photo i choose for best shot monday. i may have better shots for it, but i opened my folder of photos from yesterday’s photo walk, and this is the one i loved the best.
