roll of film
my vintage 35 mm canon camera sits on my shelf most days. sometimes, i pull it off and snap a few photos here and there. (sometimes i think i have film in it and snap photos just to find out there is no film…) i’ve actually only gotten two rolls of film developed since i bought the camera last year. i try not to over use it (obviously) since it costs to get film developed… but i think, after seeing the photos on this roll, i need to use it more often. maybe i’ll work towards getting a roll a month developed. i like that the photo store includes the cd of photos. i like the photo store because they added boarders to my 4×6 prints.

what does a first post look like?

i wonder to myself as i start the 7th first post of my new photography website. but now it’s time time to make up my mind, to stop changing it all around, to forget if everything isn’t exactly perfect, to open up and share. so welcome. welcome to my new place to create art through photography and share my experiences as i learn and grow.
i cannot tell you exactly what will happen here, exactly what this will turn into and what paths i will take. i can tell you that where ever i head from this point, i’ll have my camera right there with me. i can also tell you i will share my favorite photos and maybe even some i do not absolutely love. i will share my experiments of photography and photo-processing here. i can tell you that i will probably ask questions, advice, and opinions as i learn and grow as a photographer.
i hope you will come visit and share often. peace, love, and photos.
